Abstract


Noninvasive methods that have been used for diagnosis of bile duct stones include ultrasonography, computed tomography and magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography without use of contrast media. Ultrasonography is the popular, safe, cost effective and effective initial modality for the investigation of obstructive jaundice.
